That systematic racism has seeped deep down a lot of family bloodlines. Most black people see a mediocre cac working for them as a win because a white face represents competence to them. Most of us are just not corny,friendly like all the other races. And even if you are,you might only be that way with black people because you don't understand other races brand of "fun" and "happy".Even being a cornball brotha alone probably wouldn't fit that "culture".
But from what I've seen of Zuckerberg,seems like he has the personality similar to watching paint dry. I would think he wouldn't care about personality and would want the best people for the job. They've figured out a slick way to not higher black people and not have it be specefically about race. Many non americanized asians and indians wouldn't fit the mold either. But I think it will disproportionatly effect black people as usual,since there are probably fewer of us up for these jobs to begin with.

You've been lied to your whole lives, told that if you're qualified, you'll get a high value job. No. You get a high value job by being a cultural fit, however arbitrary a company defines it.

That's the game, cultural fit, not credentials gets you the job. Now y'all upset, like the women, and either don't want to play the game (which is fine) or want the whole system overturned. The system is not going to be overturned. Just like all women who have credentials are not going to get a high value man, most brehs with credentials are not going to get a high value job.

Funny how the two most lucrative fields (tech and finance) are keeping out black people.

Black people are being implicitly kept out, but not cause of what most of y'all are talking about. "Qualification" in your head means they asked for 4 years and my resume says 4 years. Qualification in their head means passing the tech interview i.e. knowing the data structures, algorithms and CS problems. It's not reflective of day to day work and they'll easily reject you for even minor mistakes. But that's the game.
