Just had this so called Half black brazilian "Allegedly" reply to me on reddit acting stupid like he didn't know what I meant by facebook's obvious "culture" I was like...
either you too dark and not invited in those white spaces or you can pass and you a good boy lets stop being stupid because alot of the world is like that in these white owned companies don't act stupid with me..

Yeah, I've seen people on the defensive side protecting Facebook on this topic over at r/Technology which is funny considering how much smoke they have for Facebook when it comes to certain subjects, but with this one, their energy came out with no shame.

I work for a startup tech company, its the best job I've ever had in terms of pay, perks etc but it is so fukking exhausting having to pretend I care about corny memes, sci-fi, aliens and other "reddit cac" humor. ( nothing wrong if you actually do, I don't)

I'm pleasant and professional but that's not enough and I worry someday they'll realize I don't truly fit in.

Excuses. Airbnb wasn’t launched with a ton of capital. Founders were so broke they were eating cereal for months after maxing out credit cards. If concept and execution is strong, you can build a buzz with limited capital. Almost all black professionals are underpaid for their qualifications, and those same professionals have to spend a chunk of that money taking care of their black families because they are usually the first to graduate college and make enough money. Some have several siblings they are helping put through school so they can have better opportunities. How many whites and asians have those kinda problems???!

Seriously some of you have ZERO social awareness and think theres any easy solution for every racial injustice black people face.

That's being a black man and working at mostly anywhere in corporate America around cacs. It would be the same if you worked at a investment bank, law firm, etc. Black women catch it too but in a different way.

That's why Black people have that corporate voice and demenour then switch it up when in more familiar settings. So unless affirmative action can be re-instated in its original flavor.
It will get even more bleak for black people as the world of automation moves forward.

Affirmative action must be reinstalled back to its original form.
Notice the black politicians got to be agents. As rhey all got their positions distinct ly because of affirmative.action. yet continue to try to act like they just got there on their merit as mystical negros. When affirmative action made it so we kicked corporate american ass before they changed affirmative action in 2001.


Change affirmative action back.
Out vice president and president need to be the biggest advocate for aa. As they directly and distinctly benefitted in their current position. From the old flavor of affirmative action being instituted.
