I know someone who got the same exact response from Facebook. He's a computer programmer, super smart with solid work history. He was told he didn't fit company culture. He didn't think it was anything racial though. He felt it's because he wore a suit and tie and maybe a bit too serious. He says the interview was quirky and a completely different vibe than he's ever experienced.
When he pulled up in shorts and flip flops they would tell him the same
Indians by far.

During that depressing period in 2008 when I was a car Car Salesman. Had this white chick try to peer bond me with me by awkwardly talking about how she "totally relates" to that one Chris Rock skit about Black people vs Nikkas
Soon as realized where she was going with that shyt, I shut that shyt down.

I look up and see my co-worker, this fine ass Angela Basset looking chick trying to stifle her laugh while looking out of the dealership window, she cuts a quick glance over at me like

Pretty much, once all the brehs and brehettes recognized each other as "real ones" that could be trusted we stuck together til we eventually all left for better jobs.
I remeber the one breh , Chris, gay Eddie Murphy lookin dude was funny as a MF, Only nikka that ever called me a bytch and I just let slide.

Telling y'all. The Bay is weird, I go to school up there. Hell my doctor today said he will call my other doctor again to make sure I am really in need of the surgery I am supposed to get like I wasn't supposed to have it in 2017.

So what is it about you that's 'threatening'? You have a law degree, you got into a prestigious school, graduated from said school. Most hood nikkas would put you in that 'non-threatening' category just off the strength of that.
Look, most of us that grew up in upper middle class environments don't have cultural fit issues when working in industries that employ the upper middle class.
I don't know what else to tell ya...
