Just finished it. I see a lot of people questioning the Asian robot's actions towards the end, but remember when she entered Ava's room and Ava stood up and asked her who she was? They didn't show the full interaction, but I believe that full conversation is what led to that bond they quickly created when they finally met face to face. Its cool how the movie doesn't hold the audiences hand and allows the viewer to draw their own conclusions.

There were a few before that.

Just saw this. While I liked it especially the ending it is a leap for me to actually believe a human being would actually think a robot liked them. Especially someone supposedly smart.

Similar to the movie A.I. you just want to scream at all the characters, yo it's fake! No matter how real a robot seems it just isn't. To elevate a robot to a human is just I don't know . . . dumb.

Finally saw this last night. I loved it.

About the ending
One thing that I was confused about at first was why Caleb was actually still stuck even though the room turned red. We had just learned that it was reprogrammed to open all doors when the power goes down, so it seemed off that he was still locked in when that happened. I was reading the imdb board and the way someone there explained it made a lot of sense. The room didn't turn red until Caleb tried to access the computer with his own card. So there's a good chance that the power wasn't out, just that the computer's security locks he room down when someone other than Nathan tries to access it.

Or maybe the really the power did go out and that's a huge plot hole or I'm missing something else entirely. Thoughts?

Either way, great movie.

I lost it at the "I'm about to tear up the fukking dance floor" line and dance that followed.

I thought the plan was
all the doors would be open except that control room. That's where the rich dude was going to be trapped, and that's why Ava told the simp to wait there
