I cant blame the defensive coordinator for the defense as Howie and those upper management guys doesn't spend money on that side of the ball. We need more playmakers but our offense should carry us this season. I would like to add needs to blitz more and trust his secondary

The prob is scheme and playcalling. When you play the same scheme every week and your def playcalling is terrible, that will happen.

Why were we playing zone against a team with rookie wide receivers?? That benefited them more than us.

The reason why Belicek is the GOAT is bc he tailors his scheme & playcalling to his opponent. He runs a 3-4 one week, 4-3 over the next, 4-6 the next week, uses zone blitzes, mixes up his coverages, def fronts, back 7 looks, confuses the QB

We need the def to be adaptable and not predictable

Yeah, I figured as much. This also happened in the last two minutes of the game, when the Eagles had already won the game, so that really fukking sucks.

It’s a big blow. Timmy Jernigan is healthy, Hassan Ridgeway looked okay. They’ll probably promote Hector from PS to fill in for depth. Either Brandon Graham or Vinny Curry can slide inside when they need to. Hopefully Schwartz can adjust.
