my takeaways....

We were rusty cause they didn't get any real pre season time in....

I'd have Howard /Sanders in more than Sproles/Sanders combo.....sproles still got some gas in the tank but his explosiveness is not like it used to be.....Howard was trucking folks we need that bruising back (Howard) to punish defenses then have Sanders finesse

Secondary gotta tighten up

defensive front didn't get the continuous pressure id thought they have it's kind of worrying me but maybe they can pick things up and dominate more

The eagles defense and secondary are best when the front four generates consistent pressure.

Barnett and Graham played decent. I am just worried about that second rotation defensive ends. That Curry and Sweat rotation was kinda trash yesterday.

That chris long and derek barnett 2017-2018 pass rush relief duo was consistently good that year.

I was surprised that Daeshon Hall was a healthy scratch. I thought he outplayed Sweat in the preseason

And

I'm surprised Howie didnt get Clowney just based on how Schwartz's scheme is at it's best with a ferocious pass rush. Also Given Clowney wasnt costly and he wanted to play here.

The key to the season is Derek Barnett. If he can get some outside pressure and produce 10-12 sacks for the season we are going to be elite. If he's like 6-8... it could be a problem.

Secondary gotta play better too. Because even if the defensive line gets pressure, it won’t mean anything if QBs just throw quick passes all over the field. We saw that all the time last season, and it doesn't look like it's any better so far this year. You cannot be getting torched by Case Keenum and a group of rookie wide receivers at home.

I’m terrified of next week and seeing these DBs trying to cover Julio, Sanu, Ridley, and Hooper in Atlanta. We’re going to need a big day from Wentz and the offense to have a chance in that game, because it’s looking like the only way we win is in a shootout.

The DLine not getting consistent pressure is a worry.

Too much Sproles..but he balled
Howard/Sanders Combo was more effective (Howard was getting something crazy like 7 plus yards a carry when he touched it...USE HIM DUCE/DOUG)
The offense woke up & realized they were the better unit on the field & started playing like it
Djax is still Djax...he'll probably be burning nikkas in his 40s
The OLine did their job. Did Wentz even get touched????
Wentz looked like 2017 Wentz but better.... I'm really going to love the Mature, TB12 Diet Version of Wentz
The way Wentz was commanding the huddle & directing his receivers when out of the pocket was

i mean the vikings DBs were getting mad pressure on ryan and their run game was killing them all game so thats a plus but i can see that shootout too

DB is comparable to BG, now that the smoke has settled...do you think BG is a top 13 pick?

I remember DB being listed at 256.but he looked smaller last year. I think he needs to be around 260 to 265 and i still dont see a variety of rush moves...he was ok yesterday but i was hoping for a lil more

I cant blame the defensive coordinator for the defense as Howie and those upper management guys doesn't spend money on that side of the ball. We need more playmakers but our offense should carry us this season. I would like to add needs to blitz more and trust his secondary

Atlanta defense is terrible to be honest I dont see any defense stopping this offense at all.

this and we need to use sproles..like using sparingly if we are in the redzone or on punt returns...dude has some juice left but he is aging..we got fresh RBs that can handle the load of the carries
