Not entirely. This comparable to some of those teams leaving but a couple not... The German teams and French teams aren't involved yet so it's not even all the best teams.

And this erases the potential for Cinderella teams...

Well, I'm not a futbol fan, but this is wrong from what I'm to understand. If they make this league and they become ineligible for their original leagues as threatened, that means that they participate in their league as basically an all-star league and then what was formerly cinderella teams become the main draw of the leagues they left.

If I interpreted this correctly.

There‘s also the question of: Will people really care seeing so many "big" fixtures all the time? Isn‘t the fun thing about United playing Barca that it happens only a few times every few years?

The thing I don‘t understand is people using the argument of "people only care for the quote Big Clubs unquote anyways". This is just... not true? Like, it may be true for American or Asian fans of the game, but the last (regular) Bundesliga season had an average attendance of 43'500 people. 38k for the EPL. And that‘s not just the big 6 teams playing, that‘s everyone! There are A LOT of people caring for the other 16/14 teams.

Idiots tend to say shyt that ain't true.

I’m on the other side of the fence. I think the G5 schools should tell the P5 and NCAA to kiss their ass and make their own thing
I wish they could

but they make to much money being attached to the P5

The smaller conferences lose money without the big schools

If you have not attended a European game in person and you have not experienced the actual sport in person, if you are for this proposal you need to shut the fukk up.

It's called the beautiful game for a reason. There is no legend of the game that has come out in support of this. This is all driven by money suits (a significant proportion of whom are Americans).

Glad to see most of football come out against this. It's been a PR disaster for the suits... Let's see if this comes to fruit. I doubt it.

JP Morgan gave them $6 billion

The only way this shyt flop is the fans and players boycott it

Theres nothing fun about Barca vs Man U. But no, i rather big match ups happen yearly, not every few years on some WC shyt. All the players age and some teams wont get to meet in their peak
