It's still a PS4. It has that same crap processor the PS4 has just clocked a bit faster. All it ever was gonna be was a box that could play games at a higher resolution than the base PS4 and upconvert them to 4K from there. What else did you expect?

If you have a problem with that then use the Pro whenever possible to play your games at 1080p and get the better framerate.

Every few years in console life cycles modifications are made. Last gen and previous gens gamers bought a additional console just because they were smaller ever heard of from NES to Genesis to PS1 to PS2 to PS360

There are no performance issues. virtually every game runs better. a game or two having a drop isn't cause to say there's a system wide performance delta that isn't being met which is what is trying to be suggested here. X game has an issue? that's solely the devs responsibility, not something that needs to be fixed by a ps4 firmware update.
This entire issue has been grossly overblown to gargantuan levels.
