And people wonder why Oakland and cities just like it are over run with crime. If you can’t get a job due to racism and you know that’s pretty much what it is. How else are you going to eat at night? Unless you end up doing something illegal or immoral or both? When young men specifically don’t have anything better to do. They will usually do something stupid/bad which is usually illegal. This is why when you hear White people say “but but… people of color do most of the crime per capita of their population.” Those White people are being disingenuous. You get a dog, tie it to a tight chain, never let it leave the yard, never walk it, barely feed it. what do you think will happen if by chance it gets loose? Vs the dogs you walk daily, treat nicely, feed correctly. They rarely even bark unless to protect the owner like they should.
I guarantee you this is the exact same story in chicago and other cities just like it. I know its a fact in Los Angeles. again, what do you expect me to do if you wont hire me due to my skin color? I have 3 choices.
1. become a business owner(but wait, this is a very difficult thing to do and most businesses fail within the first 5 years. and thats when its a white person running it. i wonder what the rate is for people of color(black folks to be specific)? you know its much worse.
2. Start doing crime to get paid
3. check out on life itself and be homeless.
#1 is very difficult for people without any capital and people that dont know anyone with any capital. unless you want me to go ask the #2 person that sells drugs in my hood to sponsor my business(oops thats what a lot of hood rappers end up doing). broke people have a hard to getting unbroke since all they know are other broke people. you usually need assistance from some where/some one with means. this is how the rich stay rich and the poor get poorer.
