Slim Shady died long ago... that's why Relapse flopped. Some people forget that Eminem had an aura on the first few albums like he really was a crazy, reckless whiteboy that was doing a lot of drugs, living on the edge, and might crash out at any time.

Now we know he's a shy guy who just loves hip hop, this kind of rapping doesn't really hit anymore and hasn't for a long time. Probably since 8 Mile.

“Relapse” didn’t “flop.” It was the highest selling rap album of that year.

The only people that fukked with that album was his core Stanbase that wanted to hear that vicious Slim Shady character again because he was gone for 4 years.

When it comes to the rest of the hip-hop fans, they hated the album cause he went “too crazy” with the concept. And also, after 4 years gone he didn’t show any growth and was still in the same ole wacky crazy shyt. Hence why he scrapped “Relapse 2” and made “Recovery” that was accepted more by the mainstream audience.

Since then, Em has pretty much ran out of shyt to talk about because he is sober, his kids grew up, and his legacy is pretty much certified now.

He has his huge loyal core Stanbase, but he still has that small part of hip-hop that still refuses to accept him. Sad reality but it is what it is..

Slim shady might really be back if people are taking these lyrics as anything more than jokes.

I seriously doubt megan herself was offended by that line.

Exactly...mission accomplished.

Slow kids must have never listened to old Eminem when his whole gimmick was just dissing other people unprovoked.
Dissed Rihanna and now has several songs with her :pachaha: Meg ain't special.

Relapse probably could be considered a flop by eminem standards at that time, it was his lowest selling album to that point.

His next album went on to be his third best selling album tho so clearly he still had the star power.

Abrcadara is growing on me. I REALLY wish the beat was better, though.
