The best tracks are really good but the 2nd half of it is lackluster. It falls off after it abandons the concept part. I think that's around guilty conscious.

That’s not the correct order to listen to it

Honestly Encore is kinda dope if you take off the songs where he's just straight up bullshytting. I can see the vision with that album, songs like Mockingbird is one of his best all time. Relapse was dope to me too but it's weird he doesn't really like it considering he was using accents on both Encore and Relapse.

Back when I burned cds, I just replaced the goofy tracks with the ones that were originally intended for it & sequenced it properly.. very dope album that way.

“Love You More” is still one of my all time favorites to this day :wow:

That song doesn’t get enough love… got me through a tough year matter of fact …

Was listening to My Darling in the gym and thought Relapse had a similar theme and the concept could’ve been properly flushed out with skits and proper sequencing. Still Ems best album outside his prime era

Haven't ran this back in a while but his best in a minute. I liked that first Music to be Murdered By and Kamikaze, those were decent

Put it on a playlist from “Somebody Save Me” to “Renaissance” so it plays smoothly so you can hear the real story.. I can share mines on Apple Music if you want it :manny:

I listen to it in the order the artist arranged he tracks in. I just stop after he abandons the album's concept to make songs for his daughter and stuff.

Well he did say it wouldn’t make sense if not listened in order prior to being released.. never specified which direction though. I felt the same as you initially. Hated damn near everything after “GC2” & had plans to never revisit until I played it in reverse. Everything clicked story wise then. I can assure you the concept is fully fleshed out from beginning to end including the tracks you feel abandon the concept. Skits included.

Like I told bro, put it in a playlist so it’s a seamless transition between the songs like an album should be. You’ll hear it much differently.
Also it’s plot point that starts from “Road Rage” & goes until “Habits” that is only told in chronological order, in reverse :sas1:
