He mention reference tracks, ghostwriters, freestyling off phones and views( the name of drake's album). But we gonna act like he wasn't dissing Drake. Em a coward if he try to act like he wasn't subbing pissgawd

Mine are higher, so when you compare our views, you get overlooked
And I don't say the hook unless I wrote the hook

And now I'm just freestylin' in the vocal booth
And you know I've always spoke the truth
You lyin' through your teeth so much you broke a tooth
And it ain't somethin' I need a phone to do

Iovine hit him with that Bill Duke.

Em has been his golden goose, Drake is his replacement.

Parity doesn't absolve the album from being trash. No excuses

That's why I get confused when people praise Em as being a technical beast these past fewwhen during the Eminem show era/relapse he was way more technical and precise with the rhyme schemes.

I feel like Eminem came to terms with falling off on Eminem Show. He basically said he'd fall off by 30 when he spit something along the lines of "the fire expirong and dying at 30". With Encore it was evident. There's even written apology on the actual CD. He's taking his "final" bow on the cover and then on the back it says "sold out".

Three great albums is all he had in him. I like Relapse, some songs on Recovery, a few from MMLP 2, and maybe 1 song on Revival. Kamikaze has dome heat, but it also has garbage too.

Listening to these interviews, you realize that he’s come a long way from how he used to be. A sober and mature EM expressing himself with clarity about where hip hop is as a whole and how people feel about him rapping now.

I feel he’s one of the purest MC’s ever, which is why he takes things in such a way.

Then he shouldn't have mentioned MGK at all if he wasn't gonna see it through. Don't pop shyt unless you gonna be about shyt. This is Em, not some new jack, he knows how battles and beef go.

Well, as he mentioned, he reached a boiling point to whereas he had to respond against his critics. Especially to MGK since he talked about his daughter several years ago which led to MGK situation.

What happened to I Don't Give A fu*k? Em sounds like he just discovered the internet and internet trolls, which he probably did. Em was living inside a vacuum with all that pop corny ass production, with baked in hooks from Interscope think tanks. Budden was the only one brave enough to say what everybody is thinking. He even said it nicely and Em still caught feelings.

how are you gonna have a negative opinion on ghostwriters when you wrote half of Dre's album?

ghost writing for producers is different. drake doesn't make beats so without writing lyrics he's a fraud

a lot of juggalos got pissed when we found out Madrox wrote Blaze Ya Dead Homies first album. the songs felt less authentic.

Doesn't stop it from being a disappointing album but I do think it's interesting considering what he was trying to get across with some of the songs and the art work. I put that theory out there before and someone said it reminded them of a Bob Dylan album that was similar, I wish I knew the name of the album they were referencing.

Insane was one of the hardest beats on that album despite him doing some silly shyt lol. And being that a lot of people experience some sort of sexual trauma when they're young I figured he was using humor to address something that may have really happened to him, like on Brain Dammage. Like that song is goofy but he used a warped fantasy and imagery to talk about the time some kid literally fukked him up to the point where he had to re-learn how to tie his shoes, that's not funny at all but that's how some people deal with pain.

Same way how some people speculate on whether Pac was molested or was he just putting that in his raps to tell a story, you never really know.

Self Portrait was the name of that Dylan album.

I pray to God in Part 4, Sway pulls out the yahnahmean and blows Em's head off and yells "FOR THE CULTURE!" :mjlit:

My word, I will personally put in 50k towards his bail/legal fees. Plus there's a 97% chance this orange fakkit in the White House would pardon him :ehh:

I think he sums up in that song up how isolated he feels from the rest of the world as "Eminem" the brand, which belongs to Interscope more than it does Marshall the person

That’s really fukked up but true sadly

Basically new em, is still trying to be old em.

He's a grown man now and realize that the idgaf attitude sucks when you in those shoes and its also mad petty.

So he's struggling with being the idgaf em that the people are use to and want compared to the grown up more mature and aware em that everyone say's sucks and is a hypocrite

It's true,

Who else is pushing wordsmiths and battle rap etc forward more than em?

Notice how Joe switched sides, he never talks about the Royce , Lupe , pusha , Joyner etc tapes on the podcast.

And now he on this content is greater than rhyming, flow, bending words, lyrical ish .

Joe is trying to sabotage where he from because nobody paid him no mind .Trying to take his ball and go home.

I've listen to 90% + of his podcast never has he ever talked about music with actual content Minus hov and drake.

And for the record he claims he never heard revival, and that was another tatic to not talk about it on the podcast.

Joe is salty af

This thread will be upped in a few months when Budden flips his positions on something in hip hop AGAIN and then The Booth will think Budden is a cornball AGAIN like they always have, except for Budden fans, who are admittedly loyal to dude.
