Did this dude say he thought the Slaughterhouse video with Cee Lo was going to be a smash? And that Slaughterhouse was one of the greatest groups ever? This guy is too rich and too isolated, he's out of his mind.

I think what you don’t understand is that Eminem came from a battle rap background. A super duper lyricist, so for him to have the chance to push a group with lyricists was something he had his heart in. He knows how hard it was to break in so in a sense he’s giving back to his roots. Maybe in his mind he though the SlaughterHouse could compete with the best hip hop groups in history, I mean look at his career. One of the biggest success in rap history. He had his hopes up high. He’s realizing Joe is a snake and is being selfish. Like others have stated before, he’s in a weird place. A rapper that saw it all and stayed in the game longer than he needed to because he has the passion for it.

Stimulate :ahh: :whew: :mjcry:

Soooooo underrated. I can't believe that was left off The Eminem Show and relegated to the 8 Mile soundtrack bonus disc. One of his best songs ever.

Poetry.

I don't mind the double/tripple time but it takes Em away from his strengths. 3rd verse of stimulate is one of my favorite verses ever, clear, concise, not one fukking punchline, just poetry.

And he was the one who took it to wax :dead:

@saysumthinfunnymike this p*ssy cac is your man, breh? :hhh:

You got me confused with @SunZoo he is the resident Em stan, I am the resident truth speaker. For example, Not Alike is a better verse than the MGK track and despite Em being corny or making terrible albums that's not gonna make me say outlandish shyt like "MGK is hot!" :mjlol:

That song sucks, especially considering it was the hardest beat on the album but again, obvious trolling lol. He even stops trolling in the middle of the song to let you know what time it is.

Song is about Pacewon btw.

To me, that stretch of songs that starts with Puke was like we used to be in on the jokes and then the joke was on us.

I mean, it's all kind of funny in a way, but shyt, you're doing this on Dre beats. Like Puke is sort of funny as an anti-boy band song, but we didn’t want a Weird Al album from him. And nobody wants to hear actual puking sound effects.

I don't care what anyone says... he floated on Big Weenie

I thought he floated on My First Single even though that beat...can give you an aneurysm

And it was mocking the fact that the label wouldn't press up his albums til he gave them a "my name is" type record since it was a working formula.

They switched that up to faux/inspirational 'stadium' music, I'd listen to We Made You before another one of those songs.

It's true,

Who else is pushing wordsmiths and battle rap etc forward more than em?

Notice how Joe switched sides, he never talks about the Royce , Lupe , pusha , Joyner etc tapes on the podcast.

And now he on this content is greater than rhyming, flow, bending words, lyrical ish .

Joe is trying to sabotage where he from because nobody paid him no mind .
Trying to take his ball and go home.

I've listen to 90% + of his podcast never has he ever talked about music with actual content Minus hov and drake.

And for the record he claims he never heard revival, and that was another tatic to not talk about it on the podcast.

Joe is salty af

:hubie:

EXACTLY!!!!!!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this, Joe has been trying to shift the narrative to get people to see things the way he does. So if the Lyrical miracle rapper himself says that shyt aint cool no more (cause it aint work for him) then the masses will be like well if joe said then its gospel.. :camby: with all this "content" talk when this nikka had two subjects his entire career. Sad and depressed and angry dissing people.

I guess you can say its the right thing to do from a media guy but its phony as hell

That’s pretty much what it comes down too. Em is doing an interview being honest about stuff and folks are saying it comes off “too forced.” If he would have stayed silent folks would have called him a coward. It’s really damned if u do and damned if u don’t.

Only on the Internet do folks write off Em and never take him serious. And even if he would drop an album completely produced by Alchemist, folks would STILL hate on it.

He could sell all the records in the world (with his age, that’s quite an accomplishment). But the “majority” in hip-hop will never take him serious.

With these interviews Em looks legit irritated. Irritated with the state of hip-hop, irritated with the reviews of his last album, irritated that Slaughterhouse didn’t go right, irritated about the whole MGK shyt. Just irritated period.

Dude dead ass cannot handle constructive criticism either which is quite telling. Now i know what Just Blaze meant when he told his story about working with Em. Paul told him it’s because of how he says things and Em doesn’t respond well to folks like that :gucci:

He still my favorite rapper and all but cmon bro..grow a pair.

And him being tone def to the backlash to the Slaughterhouse and the Revivial album is quite telling as well. He never points the finger at himself.

These interviews are quite interesting to Em’s thought process to me.

Yea I go that too,

he is in a weird space cause he been the untouchable legend who never leaves Detroit and who never pays attention to everyone else for so long, I think he figured he could of did revial and just like MMLP 2 and Shady XV his fans would listen and the people that aint like it would ignore it. He is legit shocked that people felt so strongly against that album, I also think that he didn't take the relapse criticism as harsh because he felt like his actual fans didn't like it especially after such a long layoff. but he thought Revival would get the, "hes a legend so I want be too disrespectful" treatment. But when people treated him like they do everyone else it forced him to wake up and try a little harder to get in tune with whats going on outside his bubble..

Long story short he is the poster child of being a prisoner of his own success, and thinking his legend status would protect him from certain criticism, he also legit thought Joe was on his side and would atleast be respectful towards him.. Joe can be media all he wants but he has to realize his peers and most fans still view him as a rapper so he cant go off on people like that

There's certianly a loud and populated base on social media (and needless to say on here) that has been trying like hell to get him out of here for the past few years now but numbers don't lie. :pachaha: It's why all the "irrelevant" talk sounds so stupid so now they're going with "LOL imagine still listening to Eminem in 2018" jokes and stuff. Hell, even these media outlets that clearly don't like him are reaching...I think it was Esquire or Forbes or Pitchfork that titled the article about Em selling 450k in his first week as "hate streams get Eminem to #1" :skip:

That's another reason Em should be content. In this age of society where social media is trying to get everyone who was controversial in the past out of here, Em is still going strong and I think it drives them...berzerk. LOL
100%
It was forbes and like USA today, I saw them shyts in my google feed, I was legit disgusted, so I read it. Them nikkas might as well just said we hate Eminem the end. USA today has no business talking about hip hop or music in general and Forbes is the number 1 pocket watching brand out there what in the fukk do they know about music. Those articles would have never been published 10-15 years ago when journalism was still credible

I'm starting to feel bad for Eminem. It's like he's waking up out of this delusion that his handlers had him in, and he's realizing the pedestal he was placed on, aint that high.

Dog...it's nothing personal...You just stopped making music for the hip hop heads and social media has given us a voice that will actually get to you.

Those poppy songs aint the move, and they aren't what we wanna hear from you...

That is true, but social media is so disrespectful, you cant be mad at him for taking it personal cause when dudes go in online they say all types of wild shyt. You cant talk crazy too everyone and expect them to react a certain way. Some people aint for all that shyt talking,

The average guy online talking reckless doesn't have much real life experience and don't know that those type of things will get you punched in the face in the real world.. So he has every right to go as far as he went on this album cause you cant be rude and talk crazy but be offended when he sends shots back..

What Tyler said was about the music but it was whack cause he had a personal relationship with EM and could of just told EM how he felt. Joe was trying to get clicks to he took all the rage from the "I hate EM fanclub online and channeled that into his rant. which was wack cause he also knows EM and Royce

He had that :beli:look on his face when he was talking about ghostwriters. Like u can tell he really wants to go in, but politics (Paul) he is stopping him.

I’m really enjoying how they are rolling out these interviews clips tho :obama:

Shady got folks talking for the whole week..

I hate it but have been tuned in all week

Low key I know this is going to get some negative looks but I'm a say it.. Kanye is a genius, those 4 7 track rollouts had people talking about him and his artist for atleast a month until Drake came out. That's actually smart, cause media and social media will move on from you as soon as you stop providing new content. I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't intentional

I think that's why EM spread these interviews out, 1. so you can digest each topic and debate it it for a day, and 2. so you can be talking about him two weeks after the album came out. He knew no one would still be talking about the disses if he aint reply so he gave them something to talk about until he is ready to respond and that way it wont feel like old news Look at how fast we moved on from Cardi and nicki

Damn this is the most objective Eminem talk I have ever seen online, wow, the haters must be sleep.
