Saying Microsoft has 'never been a hardware company' like Windows Phones, Surface Tablets, Surface Laptops, the fukking Zune aren't all literal things that exist(ed) is wild to me.

Wilful obfuscation of facts to suit agendas.

Juelzing like they've never Juelzed before.

The logic kills me.

MS has a long history of selling unsuccessful hardware, therefore MS was never in the business of selling hardware.

This is like when women wanna erase bodies from their past because the dudes they let fukk didn't claim them.

If you go to church on Easter and Christmas every year does that make you a churchgoer?

When someone says hardware company it means a company that primarily makes and is known for making hardware. It doesn't mean if a company has ever made hardware they fall into that category. Apple is a hardware company, Samsung is a hardware company. Both those companies make software for their hardware and almost nobody would associate them with being software companies.

He didn't say Microsoft has never made hardware. He said Microsoft has never been a hardware company meaning that's never been their bread and butter.

It sucks that this is happening, but they've been on this path for a while now. Agents of Mayhem and Saints Row 2022 flopped hard. You could argue that they haven't actually made a good game since maybe Saints Row 3. Embracer really ain't shyt for trying to bury this news on today if all days, though.

Pretty much. They were coasting off remasters of PS3/360 games for a generation and a half. The Embracer buyout is the only reason they hadn't closed sooner.

For real. They released more remasters than new games over the last decade. :dead:

Should have just took SR2 but do it again but x10 better instead of making CW presents: Saints Row. :manny:

Looking forward to seeing their “Passion project” on a crowdfunding site in the near future.

They had clearly run out of ideas after peaking with the insanity of SR4. They should have just called Agents of Mayhem Saints Row. It was a scaled down Saints Row game in everything, but name and it was a better Saints Row game than SR2022 funnily enough.

Breh, Agents of Mayhem makes no sense whatsoever to me. They halfway buried the fact that it was a Saints Row spinoff, but had Saints Row characters all throughout the cast. Why build a game off of a successful property, and then NOT use it as a promo tool?
