I mean Elon also thinks that kids can learn most of what they should through YouTube.

I'm torn though...we're spending so much money in the Department of Education and education is regressing in society. The institute is mostly ran by White Women too lol. Are we getting a ROI on it? I wouldn't gut the system but maybe give families more educational options for their kids, but I don't know.

If he wants to fukk up American education this badly he's gonna have to welcome immigrants back, who are qualified for jobs that require thinking :mjlol:
Pretty sure that's part of the point.

Keep Americans dumb, hire cheap, skilled foreign labor.

CEO's win. Great product at the end with a fraction of the cost.

There are 100,000 software engineers working at Microsoft, imagine how much they save every year if they filled the position with people who cost 40% less. Then imagine how much they save after 10 years of that.

Great for Indians, but not Indian Americans.
Great for Latins, but not Latin Americas.
etc.

It'll build other countries' middle classes, but not our own. Oh and they'll be able to work remote, but not us here in America.

This will be one of the biggest blows (if not the biggest) to the Black community.

The DOE oversees the Pell Grant system and its spending. As of February 2024 72 percent of Black Americans use Pell Grants to pay for college and universities.

HBCU’s are responsible for 1/5 Black graduates despite only being 101 out of 6,100 colleges and universities in America; HBCU’s are responsible for 75 percent of all PHD’s, 85 percent of Black doctors, 80 percent of Judges (you know the rest).

75 percent of HBCU funding comes from Pell Grant students.

So conservatives will say well they will just give money to the states. Except for one problem, 94.7 percent of all HBCU’s are in Southern States (unless you count Maryland as a southern state then it’s 97 percent).

Republicans have already shown what the believe about higher education as they have slashed education budgets (Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama) or have not given HBCU’s adequate funding (Tennessee, Florida and North Carolina).

This is an absolute disaster.

Like I said in a previous post shyt is going to be like 1942. America and the American people deserve what they get from this. nikka has shown you countless times who he was and people were like atleast he’s honest and still fukkin voted for him.

The Truth
Remember Trump has no policies that will harm FBAs, family.
full
It will probably affect everyone

I think real FBA’s are the only ones that understand how to roll with the punches and survive/thrive when it happens.

Country surely gonna turn into the haves and the have nots, educated and uneducated, with very little ability for the poor to transcend class barriers and for the rich to lose their hoards.

Vast majority of the country is gonna be uneducated, poor asf working until they die for pennies as the rich engorge themselves with the low classes hard work.

Respectfully disagree.

1. Elon is full of shyt. He grew up in an apartheid South Africa. He is well aware of the impact of restricting resources from a group of people and the benefits of hoarding it for another. Don't be fooled and think anything less.

2. One can make a logical argument at the money spent in the Department of Education. However, them like most agencies "have" to operate from rules that create waste. Those rules are developed by Congress who usually make rules based on advice from lobbyists. There are problems on the federal level. The quality of education is also a problem on the local level. Just this year we saw school districts across the country eliminate any mentioning of critical race theory. School districts across the country also reduced the amount of recess, physical education, and music. Also add increasing class sizes while getting rid of teacher aides.

Colleges cost money. If you look at enrollment before these loans existed it was the vast majority upper middle class white people. Not even middle class cause it cost so much. Even now a lot of black people would not be able to afford college even if the rate went back to what it use too and it’s a big assumption that most schools would go down in cost to that level, because they can always switch to finding private loan suppliers.

This isn't necessarily true for the most part..... You could pay your way through college while working a job in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.. Hell, college was free in California for state schools until about 1960 to 1974. Tuition didn't skyrocket until the government started guaranteeing loans

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot when asked in an interview about the part Elon Musk could play in a new Trump administration:

"Let's hope he doesn't do to American democracy what he did to Twitter."
