I use to work security for two of the buildings that have been in the news for this. It's been a few years but from what I remember someone from the congress persons staff will request access or be precleared for whatever reason and be escorted into the building so this issue is never encountered. A congessman or senator would never just show up. The people that are guarding the door take orders from the Agency or FPS not Congress. If word from the Admin's staff or FPS says don't let them in in then they are not getting in. The whole situation is fukked up for these employess and contractors who are just doin there jobs.

I will agree with two of your points. Yes, members of Congress just don't show up like that and security is following the agencies. I was disagreeing with the notion people can't get into the building although some are closed to the public.

Dems need to seriosuly consider connecting with some Blue State led National Guard units and law enforcement in private. This is a fascist coup and they must not have a monopoly on the use of force. Also everyone expecting congress members to physically move this cac are looking at it wrong. Their job is to bring attention to it.

Ideally it should be law enforcement since this is an illegal act. And if not law enforcement, perhaps citizen arrests need to be made.

This whole thing feels off. Its like we're watching a dictatorship form and most of everyone cannot fully process it.

You have to fight fire with fire and the Dems lost that energy. It’s very true; Biden should’ve been told as soon as he took office that he was a one term president and they had to get ready to fight Trump again in 4 years.

People are definitely still dumb to have voted for Trump, but Dems fumbled.
