You say this like somebody just gave them billions of dollars. Tesla came through with electric cars with the performance of sports cars. Bezos made shopping from the comfort of your own home a reality. Gates simplified computers to the point where they were accessible to everyone (a lot of people are too old to remember when you had to type in a specific command prompt for every action you needed a computer to do).

Money and resources will always flow from consumers to producers. Its inevitable.

Even if you abolished money and assigned resources to every person on earth, first you would have women trading sex and attention for extra resources. Dudes would be like "I only really need to eat once a day, you can have my meat and bread queen". You'd have people with marketable skills trading their labor for extra resources.


then some enterprising individual would come through and find a way or invent something to get those people to trade their resources.

Wealth inequality is inevitable.

That's why the whole "eat the rich" thing is stupid.

As if there's some magical line where a person should willingly give up providing a service people are willing to pay for.

You'd just keep killing every innovative, productive, or resourceful person that pops up until you disincentive innovation, production, and resourcefulness then your society free falls into starvation and despair.
