Yeah. Only non-essential businesses are closed. Everywhere else is still pretty much open. No one is stopping you from going on a late night run or wanting to be outside.

I remember back in the day the politicians and the elite respected the people enough that they spent time and effort to lie to us , they knew that we knew it was bullshyt , but they knew that because they would call a press conference , present some powerpoint display with graphs and figures that no one understood , bring out some government economic advisor wearing his best suit that no one had ever heard of , make this advisor drone on for thirty minutes about God knows what , but at some point he mentioned a laffer curve
The fact that they would go through the charade of asking questions from the press and then completely ignore the question and talk about something else.....
we knew they were lying , and they knew we knew ...... But the fact that they went through all that effort meant that they respected us enough to art least make it look plausible ..... so we gave em a slide

But forcing your citizens to stay in the house, making peaceful assembly illegal, is basically the definition of fascism.
Sure, I understand that thousands of elderly have passed, as well as a thousand of younger people.
But the fact that people are so quick to relinquish their civil liberties is both laughable and scary.
