At the end of the day none of these Super Powers want smoke with each other. They know in a direct conflict these countries won’t be shooting it out with conventional forces and fighter jets. The second they declare war on each other it’d be thousands of nukes being thrown in the sky coming both directions. Each side loses, nobody makes money.
So the balance of power on the global stage will be more or less equal, but the balance of power in each individual country is lopsided: haves vs have nots.
