I’m being facetious. The point I’m trying to make isI can understand the motives of past so called captains of industry. These new breed of tech bros is just a bunch of socially awkward, anti social, bitter nerds with a god complex.

They don’t want to just make money, they actually think they know what’s good the 8 billion of us. They claim that they have humanity’s best interest at heart, but if you really listen to what they are saying, they see most of us as disposable or standing in their way.

They are a dangerous lot because they have bought into the hype of their supposed genius.

One or two of them need to get clapped up to restore balance.

These Silicon Valley tech bros are so evil and malicious they make China look like the good guys.

Just be fair. You are describing ever large scale capitalist in this country. Folks in the oil industry did a great job making the world dependent while burying alternative modes of energy. You don't find it interesting in 2025 cars are still barely going 40 mpg. We've gone from solid brick homes to plywood and sidings and very little creativity in designs. I can go on but you get the point. You are correct but the tech industry has done what every large industry had been doing.

You should read up on the philosophical underpinnings on people like Peter Theil and Elon Musk. It goes further than just naked self interests, which is bad enough on its own.

These dorks really want to “disrupt” society and install themselves as god kings. They are way more nefarious in their goals and intent than the typical capitalist who just want to manipulate governments for financial interests.
