What utter nonsense.

She not proposing anything remotely communist. She literally proposing ideas that force corporations to not exploit people, and just not buying into the republican talking points about trickle down economics.
Her policy is as close to worker owned means of production as we’ve seen. Workers on the board?
Just cause you like it doesn’t mean it isn’t moving workers towards owning the means... which is textbook socialism.

Relax with the hysterics.

Government run health insurance.
Public option ISP.
Universal childcare funded by the government (state and federal).
Co-ops have existed in this country for awhile. But having workers on the board will be new. Plus, government has been socializing private businesses for decades. So if you wanted to stop "worker partially owned means of production" you would have told the free market to not shake the invisible hand of gov't socialized funds.
Public housing is already a thing.

We're nowhere near communism. We haven't even reached socialism. We're not even at social democracy yet.
The question was at what point if any, would you say we’ve slid too far left?
I didn’t say we were there... first sentence said “heading that way”

When you frame your query like a panic attack over legislation that isn't extreme, I don't think people should bother treating you like you're asking a serious question fam. He responded by correcting the disingenuous framing and that's about all that needed to be said.

Putting workers on corporate boards is extreme to me...:yeshrug:

Imagine companies figuring out how to approach negotiations with a union with a union member in the room.:picard:

:hubie:My bad for not being all for it like the rest of the echo chamber.

You must have lost your shyt that year when Netflix charged 9.99/mo for streaming.

I'm sure they would figure out a way. Plus, they could just negotiate with that member right there and then.

Being different doesn't mean yelling into the foil hat on your head.

Its unquestionably heading that way imo.
We already have gov run education, now Dems are pushing for...
gov run healthcare...
Gov run ISPs...
Gov run childcare...
Worker partially owned means of production...

...and i believe housing will be next

Is there a point where you say we are sliding too far left? or rather at what point does it begin to look like communism to you?
Translation: I don't know what communism is.
