Gov run childcare...
Worker partially owned means of production...
...and i believe housing will be next
Is there a point where you say we are sliding too far left? or rather at what point does it begin to look like communism to you?

Government run health insurance.
Public option ISP.
Universal childcare funded by the government (state and federal).
Co-ops have existed in this country for awhile. But having workers on the board will be new. Plus, government has been socializing private businesses for decades. So if you wanted to stop "worker partially owned means of production" you would have told the free market to not shake the invisible hand of gov't socialized funds.
Public housing is already a thing.
We're nowhere near communism. We haven't even reached socialism. We're not even at social democracy yet.
