I know Geno ain't McNabb but he's right on this one he was QB#1 and did save Rex's job for another year. They quick to blame the black qb but never give the black qb praise for when they do something good like 5 gw drives and one of those where against the Patriots

How does he think he saved Ryan’s job when he threw 21 picks to just 12 touchdowns and fumbled 8 times while losing 4 of them. Dude had 25 turnovers that season. All those turnovers were a pretty big part of those 8 losses that year. I’m not saying he didn’t get hosed, but he wasn’t exactly good either.

The only reason Geno played his rookie season was because of DUMB ASS Rex Ryan decision to put his starting QB Mark Sanchez in the fourth quarter of a preseason game vs. third stringers.



Geno shouldn't have played in year 1. Rex's dumb ass mistake forced him to play when not ready.
