so let me get this str8. when somebody calls an album you like a consensus top 10 album, you dap it.......but when someone points out that its not, you get funny and ask sarcastic questions like "theres a consensus top 10?
Naah - it was just the way you wrote it (or I read it I guess) - sounded like you were sitting there with the consensus top ten list in your hand. And yes - I generally dap people who post things that I agree with.

No they don't. People will talk about this album is better than that album and this rapper is better than that rapper - maybe this is the best album ever or this is a classic - but I've never met anybody in real life who had actually made a list of the best albums in order. Only the media and posters on forums get this into ranking albums.

that little brother chit didnt deserve no 4.5 mics. i wouldnt even give it a 4. perfect example of these writers pushing for their personal favorites. and benzino was blocking alot of their foolery with the mic ratings for nearly a good 10 years prior. he had power over there long before 'the announcement'.
people ask me for my top 5 or top 10 "insert category" lists all the time. its regular hip-hop conversation, even amongst gateway and/or casual followers.
yep. born in 85. i grew up around this stuff b. i dont see the big deal. i didnt say i was an expert back then.

GRODT was everywhere. It just wasn't as good as people pretended it was. Good album. Far from great. Are you really Yoyoma?
2 different eras.
and grodt was more of a impact classic than an actual classic album.
and as expected, time hasnt treated that album well.
