I'm In. Have anybody watched the OG recently? If one movie needed an upgrade, its this one. Even the martial arts from the asians was bad

The film topped both the domestic and international box office and cemented Johnson’s place as America’s premiere action star.
hmmm..my initial reaction was "whaaaat? "
I'm glad Rocky loves the flick but I already know his Jack Burton is going to be exactly the way the studio initially wanted Jack Burton to be: the classic hero whereas Russell and Carpenter knew he was the sidekick
Now this is a remake I'd be excited about.
The Rock in that role just seems right.
i think people sleep on how versatile the rock is as an actor. he can play the satircal, "everyone's in on the joke except me" sidekick.
How breh
I think it'll a great balance of being over the top and quirky but not too brash.
Somebody phone renny harlin or brett ratnerAlso depends on who they get to be the "lead" and of course the director. You need a real vision on this, not some journeyman

The fukkin balls.
THE fukkIN BALLS...on Hollywood.
I'm thoroughly disgusted.
I can't even eat my dinner.
There's no way you remake that classic.
There's only 1 Jack Burton, and it's NOT Dwayne Johnson.
Who?
Jack Burton...ME!!!
