Pretty sure you'll be able to lift heavier than this,if you hittin 135 barbell press for reps, keep us updated tho
Well, you were right. I had no problem with the 60s, even after doing five sets of barbell incline bench. 65s were fine also. I was able to muster a few reps with the 70s, but that's it. I was super-setting them with upright rows and face pulls with the rope/cable station.
If I designated a day to shoulders (instead of just doing an upper body day twice a week), or just did the dumbbell press after flat bench, I think I'd have an easier time.
I'ma need to see the receipts on dudes saying 100+
never seen anyone in my gym go over 90
At my peak the most I tried was 100s for reps...most I did recently was 75s.
my left shoulder was giving me pain so trimmed the weight and upped the reps

I've seen a guy repping 100's before at a non-powerhouse gym
He was a strong fat dude though....young....looked like a football player
I believe the guys saying they are putting them up, it aint easy but can definitely be done. I'm usually the quick to call in these threads but not in this one
Its not often but if that's what you into its quite easy. I see a few cats doing that at my gym but most of them are powerlifters or actual bodybuilders.I'ma need to see the receipts on dudes saying 100+
