While Dom's turn is a long long time coming it makes zero sense for him to have worked so hard to get Rey+Edge the win just to turn on them after the match.
He shoulda hit Edge during the match in a way that ended up getting Edge pinned and then when Rey tries to get him to explain that is when he beats down his daddy.

It makes plenty of sense because it didn't hit him till they won without him. It made him realize that he's the liability.
