He’s gonna be feeling some type of way when Wiggins get his this year.

Looking at the #s warriors aren’t going to offer draymond at all. They can’t. Wiggins and Poole are both free agents, with Poole being a rfa. They can’t afford everyone or that tax # will be sky high

This could be the best thing to ever happen to GS. Imagine they can fabricate some soap opera breakup and they’re ‘forced’ to trade Draymond. On paper he is the guy who NEEDS to be traded anyway, they just can’t bc he’s a pilar of the franchise

If they could tho, that would allow them to pay and keep wiggins and Poole long term, and then add depth or maybe a star with Draymond’s cap #. Attach a first and get a Myles Turner…

They don’t need that ngga Draymond. Poole can replace Draymond’s passing that allows Steph to play off ball, looney can provide a lot , not all , but a lot of that defensive anchor. And they just showed that they can get away with if not thrive with wiggins at the 4. Closing lineup of Curry-Poole-Klay-Wiggins-Looney

That doesn’t even get into the player(s) they get in return for him, or the longer term aspect of Kuminga blossoming at the 4, and the capability of wiseman and looney together if wiseman develops his 3

Nobody has the synergy with Steph that Draymond has.

When they play together at they best that’s what makes the Warriors who they are.

It’s too much but in this specific case he’s so integral to the fabric of the squad you might have to give it to him. Or try to make it a 2/3 year type deal instead of 4

We’ve never seen Steph without Draymond. So that’s a bit of causation. You shouldn’t asusme just bc Draymond been there, that Steph’s success is because of him. Could quite literally be the opposite: Steph is that successful in spite of Draymond.

Also looking at on/off splits doesn’t answer things bc Draymond is on thr team and their gameplan is incorporating him. Can’t just remove him mid season and not expect slippage. However if he’s let go in the off-season and they have time to chose a different way of doing things? Forget about it it. They don’t need that ngga. Considering ALL the talent they have, id make an argument they get better with the better floor spacing.
