A couple more things.
1. The vast majority of the die-hard Drake stans on this board are from Canada. You guys need to realize, they don't give a fukk about hip-hop culture. Their main objective is supporting their home town hero, because the last "rap" superstar they had was Snow. If Drake fails it's back to stanning Justin Bieber.
So they
cannot afford to let him fail. They'd rather throw the entire hip-hop genre and culture under the bus. They are a lost cause.
2. I'm not
too worried about this Drake situation, because hip-hop for better or worse eats it's own.
After your "run" nobody cares about your accomplishments. Nobody is going to care about some tower in Canada being "charged up", or who said what on Meek's Instagram, or how many hits Drake had, or what he sold.
50 had street cred, dodged death, went from being broke to being a superstar and sold millions of records. Lil Wayne built his career up from being 3rd string on CMR, to carrying the entire label on his back.
And both of those guys receive zero respect or acclaim for their past accomplishments on this board.
So hip-hop is going to have a field day with someone like Drake, when all is said and done. A child actor from Canada that had ghost writers?
Fred.
