Sh!t is ridiculous. I just went through a thread where a bunch of his b!tch made stans and apologists had the gall to claim that he's winning and more popular than ever because Flex pump faked and Meek ain't drop a response to quite possibly the weakest diss/response track aimed at another rapper in hip hop history. It's discouraging because I actually witnessed some cats I thought were credible posters in there co-signing the sh!t. How is it possible that you can call yourself an avid hip hop fan and you can claim Drake is winning in this situation? :what:

Facts:

1. Drake got exposed for having ghostwriters.
2. Drake doesn't deny having ghostwriters.
3. Drake drops the weakest track I've heard all month in response to being exposed.

Flex promised something and didn't deliver...so fvcking what? Flex BEEN a corn. Meek ain't drop a diss track yet, but it's just been a couple days since that weak ass Charged Up sh!t dropped. I personally feel that that track was so weak I wouldn't even be mad if Meek did'nt even respond to that garbage. Meek still wins because Drake got exposed as a fraud and responded back with :trash:. Fvck what he's doing on Twitter. Meek been tweeting dumbass sh!t on Twitter since he started that account.

Drake...he's basically an R&B singer now. I don't ever wanna hear this n!ggas name mentioned with credible MCs again. If ya'll wanna keep on bringing up that R&B singers, rockstars, comedians, etc.. have their sh!t ghostwritten ALL the time then go ahead but DON'T try to place this n!gga in talks with REAL MCs again. Compare this n!gga with Rihanna or Tinashe.

And ya'll n!ggas that been listening to hip hop for years, and respect the culture and it's history, need to stop co-signing that sh!t or hip hop as we know it and love is done.

damn, my nikka @Billy Ocean came with that ether :obama:

5 stars, dap and i tried to +rep you @Billy Ocean but i couldn't because i already did recently :myman:

but this post is powerful :wow:

But hooks many a time determine hits...Goats must also have the great ability to drop hits and hooks are a huge part of making that happen..An Mc getting help with the hook, the repetitive part of the song designed to be the most memorable part, that should not fly at all...and I feel the only reason ur even attempting to defend it is cuz u know some of your favorite MC'S are guilty of having another nikka write their hooks
The emphasis on hooks is a relatively recent phenomenon. Maybe a decade plus? Were we really talking about a "hook game" prior to 50? Ultimately, it doesn't really factor in.
I also disagree with your assertion that GOATS must have the "great" ability to make hits. A degree of commercial success is certainly a prerequisite, but at the end of the day, it's one of the least, if not the least, important factor. There isn't any correlation between making hits and being a GOAT emcee. Unless you are willing to throw G Rap under the bus. :sas2:

O word? Who told you that?

In 2004, Lord Superb, formerly of Raekwon's American Cream Team and a collaborator of Ghostface's, made claims that he had "ghostwritten" the entire album of Supreme Clientele.[10] Tony Yayo of G-Unit would later bring the topic back to the surface in 2006.[11] However, in an interview with Rhapsody Music, Ghostface responded with "Yeah, I was in Europe when I heard Tony Yayo say that. That’s just nonsense. I still put mad shyt out. 'Perb (Superb) is Rae’s (Raekwon) man. He been in the studio a few times while we’re doing shyt. He ain’t write shyt. All ‘Perb contributed was a couple of lines that you could put in the air. When we write, we all do that. “Say this one right here” or “Put this one right here.” We all catch lines with each other ‘cause you in the studio. You got nikkas around you that write. Even if he did write a verse, he could never make an album of mine. He couldn’t make an album, you feel me? I made Supreme Clientele what it is. Those are my stories, based around what they’re based upon. It’s me. I can’t see what songs ‘Perb wrote. He ain’t write "Mighty Healthy" or "One" or "Apollo Kids" or "Cherchez LaGhost" or "Saturday Nite" or "Malcolm".

he admitted superb gave him bars and even verses :sas2: and it's well known trife been giving him verses for years...that verse on that cormega song wasn't his :sas2:

i'm sure if superb wasn't a dusthead living in a bando he could upload some reference tracks too :mjpls:

Are some of yall serious with this shyt ? This is HipHop. Lyricists should never have a ghostwriter, but yall keep spinning the shyt to make it seem like its ok. Saying shyt like;
- He still makes good music
- QM is listed on the credits
- He only did 1 verse, and the rest was him
- This new era doesn't care about rules
- Other rappers have done it (without any proof or lanks)

If it were someone like Em, Jay or Nas that did the same shyt, yall Drake stans would be going hard on accusing them as being frauds. Ask yourself this...how come yall think you have the answers regarding the Fraud, yet Drake hasn't even answered or addressed that ? Even if he was too, some of you lame fukks would just spin it into some new age bullshyt. Ignoring the fact that some Canadian dude couldn't keep up with the U.S. culture, so he had to use writer(s) to hold up a image. At that, when this shyt came out, yall were silent and worried. Then Drake comes out with one of the weakest diss tracks in over a decade, and yall proclaim that doo doo as a W ?

Some of yall clowns fail to realize that this shyt aint even about Drake vs Meek. Its about the validity of hiphop. If Edgar Allen Poe didn't write his poems, he wouldn't be Edgar Allen Poe.

Breh, you're better than this.

Superb was in jail for child molestation charges when he started wilding talking about Ghost owed him because he wrote "Supreme Clientele". This has been public knowledge for at least 10-12 years.
Nobody ever took him or it seriously. This is on the same level as "Jungle wrote 'Illmatic'" or "Andre wrote all of Outkast's debut".

Perb a pedo crackhead that was beat up and banished from the crew for his insolence. Shyheim was ashamed that he introduced him to the team. Not a credible source of information.

Trading lil lines and ideas amongst your team is not having ghostwriters. We already established that. And where's this proof that Trife wrote Ghost lyrics? If you can't provide proof, then you just a chatty patty ass n!gga.

50 looked at Yayo like he was gonna slap the n!gga for even trying to say that sh!t. Perb told him that sh!t when they both were locked down in Rikers. 50 said “I don’t know nothing about any of that. He’s the writer. I’m not gonna say he ain’t write it.” Bossman had to put the jester in place for talking sh!t he knows nothing about.

Speaking specifically on his feature “Raw Hide,” Meth explained why RZA and GZA had to take on rhyme duties for the 1995 LP. “The majority of the verses on that album are old RZA rhymes and GZA rhymes,” he said. “’Approach the school, 9:30, you’re late,’ that’s RZA’s shyt. I heard that shyt when I was 14 years old. That whole, ‘Easy on my balls, they’re fragile as eggs,’ nikkas said that in a rap battle in fukking 1989.

“Dirty took all their shyt and made it his own and GZA ain’t say shyt,” he continued. “Most of [Dirty’s verses] was GZA’s shyt. I remember GZA and ODB got in an argument one night and GZA was like, ‘nikka most of that shyt you say on your fukking album is mines anyway!”

He did state that ODB wrote some of the songs, including “Brooklyn Zoo,” and stated that he himself wrote the first verse on Ghostface Killah’s “Cherchez La Ghost.”

i guess method man is a pedo crackhead making up lies too :mjpls:

seems like everyone was recycling and ghostwriting each other's shyt

Having someone in your crew suggest you change a line or two in a verse vs. reciting an entire verse that someone recorded a reference track for? As Nas said, there goes a loud difference. :sas1:
And Ghost didn't say Perb wrote a verse, he explicitly said the extent of his contribution was a couple of lines. The "even if" part was a hypothetical. Ghost was basically saying, even if Perb wrote some verses he still ain't shyt. :sas2:
