I think 69 God bringing up gang shyt was way more flagrant than the Pac and Snoop AI. Knowing Snoop flipflopping ass and his giggling reaction to the initial drop (he's now switched sides, as he always does, to supporting Kendrick) he greenlit it.

It's barely charting better than "Meet The Grahams", at #23.

If you want to split hairs over the definition of a hit vs a flop, cool, but this song very obviously didn't do what it was supposed to do.

A bunch of NY rappers dissed Kendrick after Control and Diddy poured a drink on him, which sparked the confrontation with Cole. There certainly was some sensitivity, it just wasn't as unified as the west seems to be right now. I remember 50 Cent being in Kendrick's corner at that time too and it's not like NY had a major rapper at the time who could rally the troops

That Puff/Kendrick sh*t never happened.

Cole's manager said whatever issue happened was between Cole and Puff. Had nothing to do with Kendrick.
