Broly is the only character to have a MOVIE TRILOGY in Dragon Ball. Cooler got 2 movies and he was dope too and I liked him better than Freeza even though Freeza is Legendary. That alone makes him iconic. He does have a back story as explained in the first film. His personality is that he's a hardcore killer period and he gave everyone work for 3 movies even as a clone.

I personally don't see what's so great about Broly.

Yeah, he's powerful and all, but dude literally has no backstory, no personality, barely talks, and no motive other than being crazy and wanting to destroy everything. You couldn't even have a Brolly arc because the character is just too flat. He literally isn't capable of doing anything other than showing up and trying to destroy everything.

At least Frieza has his planet trade organization, his backstory about destroying the Saiyans' planet, and his transformations. Cell had his different forms, his plot to become perfect, his backstory about being created by Dr. Gero and travelling back from the future. Even Buu at least had a punch of different forms and interesting powers (absorbing people, turning people to candy, etc.). Brolly literally has nothing interesting about him and no special abilities other than just being powerful.

Movie 8 Broly is cool to me. Actually had a personality and shyt. Everything after that is terrible. Just some big hulking idiot who yells "KAKAROT!" all the time. Who cares about that shyt? Dude can't carry more than a couple of fight scenes. He might be the juggernaut but he has the personality value of a henchman.

What messed up the Broly sequels was it turned into the Trunks and Goten show. I love those kids but they can't really carry a movie, LOL. "Broly" 2 was still good. But Bio-Broly was was mess. "Cooler 1 and 2" are Classics so I guess I can co-sign that statement. But the first Broly was legendary. As for "Super" the first 3 arcs have been confirmed by Toriyama:

Based on the first Episode this is obviously the "Battle of the Gods" Arc. The biggest clues to the timeline is Vidal. She's only engaged to Gohan at this point and she's not pregnant with Pan yet. By the time Beerus arrives on Earth, Vidal is pregnant. I haven't seen the new movie yet but this is obviously way before "Resurrection of F".

Kid Gohan is the GOAT Saiyan Kid. Future Trunks is 2nd. Also There is no Future Trunks without Gohan so Gohan wins again.

People don't give Gohan credit because he isn't as "badass" as Future Trunks, but objectively speaking he's the GOAT as far as the kids go. You pretty much get to see him from 5 years old to 20 something years old and see the progression of the character in a way that you don't see any other DBZ characters. Gohan has also put the most work in out of all the saiyan kids when you get down to the nitty gritty.

Nah trunks has out shined Gohan in every way shape and form. I don't care how hard Gohan had it growing up. Future trunks had it worse.

I actually hoping they do something with the xenoverse storyline and maybe utilize future trunks again.

And I'm very curious about the universe story arc. I remember seeing a fat Beruss and a female looking Weiss. Could the other universes possibly be parallel universe. Maybe a universe with another goku and vegeta, or even a universe where planet vegeta wasn't destroyed.

It would be really interesting if Toriyama went this route.
