I know I wasnt imagining it. Fusion IS canon. Like I said Goku didnt have enough time to teach it to vegeta fighting buu so they used the earrings.

I liked the movie Design more than the Buu Saga version even though they are two different types of fusions. Black/Zamasu is doing this version with the porta earrings.
