Finally started watching this after finishing Kai the other night.

Why is Goku so fukking stupid in this show? Gave him that Homer Simpson/Peter Griffin character development.

The manga portrays Goku just like we see him now and in the West, we got Goku being this major hero, when in fact, dude just wants to fight and strong. If he happens the save the world a few times in doing so

I've read the manga. Nothing hinted at Gohan being the one. Toei clearly wasn't expecting it either since we didn't get filler about his hidden power until AFTER he started beating on Cell

At least once during each major villain arc Gohan would go berserk and put the beats on someone he had no business fighting. He wouldn’t outright win. But you could see the potential. Piccolo acknowledges that power as the reason he trained him. Frieza acknowledges he’s way stronger than he should be. And then he trained with the strongest character in the manga for a year.

He's a Saiyan, and Vegeta is the prince of all Saiyan's. His character developed into someone who cares about his people. Dude is just showing his nobility and I'm sure he will probably become the king of U6 saiyans once it's all said and done.

I just remember Whis saying that Belmod beat Beerus in an arm wrestling match but they never mention if there are gods of destruction far stronger than others.

Also proof that Toppo at all out power was similar or equal to other gods is in the fight that happened before the tournament.




All three are using the same destruction shields Toppo was using and none of them seemed to have the upper hand over others
