Those of you that think Jiren was still leaps and bounds stronger than Goku in Limit Breaker form need to rewatch the episode. Goku was easily keeping up with Jiren AND getting stronger as time went by. The look of surprise in Goku's eyes was from what he was doing, not Jiren. Goku noticed he was losing focus towards the end and tried to end it before time ran out. Unfortunately it did and Jiren got the upper hand, but Goku could've probably ended it or got really close if he just had more time.

He wasn’t serious at all fam. As a Vegeta fan it’s tough to admit this, but he could’ve washed Vegeta at that moment if he wanted to.

I'm surprised at how many people have forgotten that Goku had SSJ3 in his back pocket the whole time and didn't do it because he didn't want to hurt Vegeta's feelings basically.

im pretty sure goku just ran out of energy at that point, wasnt really an indication of his new form not being a match for jiren
