empire being a success has guaranteed a couple of things:
1) everybody's going to want a piece of the pie so empire running away with the ratings provides a perfect excuse for news and entertainment programs to turn the spotlight to people like watkins, people who will provide an opposing point of view on the show; so the programs get some people to tune in and watkins gets some attention for the time being, win-win situation for everyone involved
and
2) i will never stop hearing about empire

Why because of baby boy and this role she has now? I seen her in other roles that wasn't the focal point of being a hood rat. So the stats doesn't say that, she just plays it well and that's why it's memorable.
