@Bugsmoran I'll give you Big Poppa
but Quik was on g-funk even before Dre

the other joints I don't really have the patience to listen to and look up when they were released right now

My point is people wanna give Dre credit for all of west coast rap and all of gangsta rap without good reason

His influence is way overblown

So now Quik wasn't influenced by Dre?:aicmon:

Dre was the one bringing in those Ohio Players and P funk samples before nikkas even knew where they came from. "Funky Worm" by the Ohio Players was the sample on "Dopeman" the same sample that JD bit for JUMP and you giving JD credit.:wtb:

Quik had g-funk records out before Dre

I've said this 3 times now JD was biting the west but not specifically Dre cuz Dre didn't even make g-funk pop yet and JD was already copying it

so do you think JD was basing his style on just a few NWA tracks that were g-funk (that wasn't their signature sound) or on entire albums based on g-funk that were coming out of the west

As a solo artist :childplease:

:beli:

No actually the express yourself song and video is when it was clear Dre was going to be a big rapper and what blew him up as a rapper.

And Snoop didn't write for Dre then either The Doc did. How does he have a point because Snoop was on the album when it was Doc's pen making the lyrics and Dre making the beats?

I won't even get into them coaching Snoop.

I give him credit for Snoop but really Snoop helped Dre blow up too so it's even :ld:

Eminem, 50, and Game are just good choices he made as a label owner that doesn't demonstrate his musical influence

And outside of Em, 50, and Game dudes don't really be on Dre's sound like that :usure:

The fukk....

No he doesn't have a fukking point because Dr Dre blew up before The Chronic came out. So no, Snoop didn't blow him up. Didn't realize NWA was an obscu underground rap group no one heard of.

:snoop:

you really think Dre would have made it as just a solo rapper?

"yo Dre, stick to producing"

That's one Dre inspired beat in Kanye's entire discography :comeon:
How is it ONE beat when in that same quote that you apparently only skimmed through and responded to, he said "now it's kind of like my whole style"???

Trolls are fakkits, breh. Don't do it.
