Running the team back with Westbrook would be a complete waste of a season. Why not just cut him at that point? It's clear he had a negative impact on the entire team.

Unless you have a very shallow team and need him to be "the guy" in the 2nd unit, and he's willing to accept that role, then you're better off not having him there at all.
