If the lakers management aren't willing to risk a first round pick to trade russ and possibly get better, then you might as well blow it all up because bron isnt getting any younger same for AD too.
Russ not getting traded bruhBron statically had a better season than Luka this season.
That's incredible at age 37.
Trade Westbrook and run it back with the hope that AD can stay healthy and this team can still be contenders.
Russ not getting traded bruh
If y’all come up off those draft picks, they will!! Houston is practically begging for Westbrook, If y’all incentivize it
I’ve seen a proposal of Wood, Gordon, Tate, Nwaba for Westbrook and 2027, 2029 top 3 protected FRP’s that sound fair to both sides.
Westbrook is an expiring. You need to get something for him before he’s gone
I kinda agree u can't trade Russ if it's going to cost u a 1st. Teams are just tryna bludgeon the Lakers rn. He's an expiring just send his ass home if anything. They need those assets if they ever hope to swing a last big trade for the Bron/AD era,
Lol nah they can get John Wall without a first, that's about it. They not trading a first and nobody is trading for him without it.They better move him .
For real though with the right moves this team can be a competitor again.
Brogdon and Hield would be ideal.
Then trade THT, picks and filler for Mo Bamba.
Back to a title contender.

They gonna run it back with Russ again.
They are hoping a different coach can get him back.
Now I'm a Russ fan but his spot on this team is a poor fit and amplified all his flaws.
He's only good when he is the primary ball handler. The problem is Lebron is just better than him at it so it makes no sense for him to even be on the roster.
Fact is dude needs to learn his role and play offball when Lebron is on the floor. An off-ball slasher can work we saw it with D Wade when Lebron played with him. But Russ basketball IQ is so bad because in OKC the damn front office and coaching staff was babying him and not holding him accountable for his turnovers. He never learned to play well off-ball and dude even has trouble holding onto the ball when dunking now. Plus he can't even hit those mid range shots that he used to in his early years in OKC that would force the defense to play him honestly.
Still though he's not the only problem on this team just the most glaring one.
Well for the Lakers those first round picks are very valuable. They know when Lebron leaves they are likely gonna be a lottery team.I see what you are saying but I think the Lakers are just plain hard ball and don't want to come off desperate to trade him. I seriously doubt that he will be on the roster next season.
