except they are the creators of Killzone which had been around for years. marketing was only increased after the E3 praise and people hit theIt’s been said before but it’s an “industry plant” game. Sony is pumping money into and trying to force it but its “popularity” doesn’t come off as authentic as a Last of Us.
I wouldn't call it a plant. I would say, Guerilla showed a new concept, folks were feeling it, Sony saw the response, and decided to market harder.
Last of Us is way too dark (storyline wise ) to go full blown mainstream like that.
