Why would he be insecure? He’s one of the most clutch players in the history of the league
He’s insecure because he fell off. That simple. He spent most of his career as an All Star/All NBA level player, but he’s not that anymore. And he’s not the first to act like this once he starts falling off.

Klay was not the Klay of old in the playoffs and you’re lying if you sit here and say otherwise.
My man what the fukk is Klay of old

He has many stinkers in the playoffs. He was not good in the 2015 or 2016 Finals. In the ‘17 playoffs he averaged 15/3/2 on 39/39/78 splits

Klay was Klay last playoffs was right in life with what he has produced regular season or playoffs throughout his career. As for playoffs it was middle of the pack among Klay’s seasons.

Stop gassing this nikka like this ain’t one of the most popular memes on this site :mjlol:

You stay focusing on offense as the basis of your arguments. Dude was ass on defense in the playoffs and not up to his usual standard. You obviously haven't read my comments in this thread and what I've said about Klay previously before you rushed in here to bring up "offense" like that's the end all be all.

Been some truly horrible shooting to start things out. I don’t think legacy shyt concerns him, but I’d be shocked if he wasn’t frustrated

His defense has always been massively overrated. You would think son was a clamp god, multi time All-Defensive Team player the way nikkas slob him.

Klay looked like Klay. You can’t substantiate this and his numbers on defense especially those who measure his impact on overall team defense were right in line with his past playoff seasons. It’s possible he isn’t as quick, is heavier than he once was, the man is 32 and coming off two injuries but there’s no indication that he was hurting the Warriors team defense in any way more than past seasons. His slippage is not that significant where he is a noticeable defensive liability. Where was this fukking defense when Kyrie was eviscerating him he even posted his ass up. It’s possible that things that have existed for years like Klay’s average foot speed and his complete lack of off-ball awareness are being magnified now that he’s older, coming off injuries, and a narrative can be formed. Klay was Klay he fought some rust but ultimately he was Klay en route to another Warriors chip.

One major difference between this Klay and old Klay was his increased aggressiveness taking midrange leaners he wouldn’t take like that before, increasing his three point volume to a career high level, and attempting to do more stuff off the dribble, attacking close outs. I assume all that was because he worked on those parts of his game while rehabbing and was eager to show it.

I kept trying to tell dudes that he was going to be washed after those two injuries but they weren’t trying to hear it. Dude missed nearly two and a half years of basketball due to injury. There was no way that he was going to come back and be even close to the player he was before and I still stand by that.

Dude had like 60 pts on 7 dribbles.... you never lose your shooting touch... he should be spotting up off the bench at this point

He’s not one of the most clutch players in the playoffs? When shyt actually matters?

Regular season averages: 20ppg on 46% from field and 42% from 3pt

Playoff averages: 19ppg on 45% from field and 41% from 3pt

He's a good shooter who has a normal fall-off in the playoffs just like most players, even though he's not the guy other teams are scheming against or primarily concerned with. No special "clutch" pickup. Few memorable huge shots. His good performances are random and mixed in with a lot of poor performances. He benefits from not having the expectations on him that a #1 has, so when he has a good game it's a big deal but when he disappears it doesn't count against him.

No, you a hater. Nothing about Klay's performances back from injury should have anybody thinking he's washed. You a hater. nikka will have an 80 point game out of the blue in the WCF to clinch it, and nikkas like you will act dumb, like that wasn't a possibility. Stop hating on Klay. He already proved himself.

You can tell he grew up with a silver spoon lol. The way Book got him all hot and bothered over some trash talking is proof he's afraid he's washed.

No, it's the classic case of aging star

Klay legit been gone most of the last three years and hurt both his legs

Stars the last to know it's over (forgot who said that)
