Best response I've seen wit this Klay press. Klay is not washed physically to me, of course he's a lil slower and heavier, but he's still able to get the exact same shots he did before the injuries. He's just not making em one and he's compounding the issue by chucking shots that were never his MO two. And it's cuz he's pressing......and tbh he's pressing because the media and NBA fans alike did him no favors during his absence. And oh my god, the week of his return you would've thought MJ was coming outta retirement for the third time. HIS HEAD HAS BEEN GASSED! What fool ass nikka actually makes mention of "Game 6 Klay" before an actual game 6. Like dude :mjlol: , what the fukk are you doing man . Klay done let the internet get to his head man, in both directions. Time to go incognito. Get back to the grassroots like you said

Shooters know.. BLOOd playin against kids who r probz bein disrespectful, lookin at him washed and not given him His props respect, probs aint helpin his mental either, plus u got poole gunnin for your spot etc etc

Like u said u start pressin.. Taken shots, and forcin shots u dont need to

All facts.. Skale it baaak, go baaak 2 basiks.. And dont try and get it all back in 1 game..

As a elite shooter, he should be able. To keep goin to ray allan age.if not even. More. Just by playin within himself and within the game..

He not washed. Just playing poorly.

He is washed. Even shooters become washed. I remember Ray Allen being :flabbynsick: and wondering how that's possible when shooting is supposed to be a skill that sticks with you until you retire. I'm not talking about Miami Ray Allen either, late Boston Ray Allen. Klay is pretty much on that trajectory but his is a little further than Ray's because of injuries. He can't move the same, lack of burst, can't defend the same. His confidence is there but it's fake confidence. It's like he knows he won't even make it. and judging by his reaction towards the criticism, the mental aspect is kicking his ass.

He doesn’t want to push hard cuz he knows he will get hurt, some players are just never the same after an injury. If he tried to go hard like he used to he will get hurt again in my opinion.

It's totally normal to be past your prime at 32 (soon to be 33) anyway.

fukk his shooting, man is absolutely washed on defense on ball defense was his use since he was so bad off ball.

His lateral movement is absolutely cooked. But that’s to be expected. I thought his offense would still be the same with more of a catch and shoot role. He can’t get much lift on the shoot anymore but idk when he morphed into monta ellis taking this ugly otd mid rangers.

totally agree it’s mental. I still don’t see much difference in his jumper.
