God Son had more meaning and direction than Section 80 and I'm a huge Kenny fan. These accusations are appalling to the GOAT.

Stop it
:usure: No it didn't. Kendrick touched on the whole 80's baby generation and the whole album was conceptual. God's Son is a Good album with a few classic joints and few throwaways.

Its a generational and demographic argument to be honest with you.

Depending on who you listen people will say Nas only had Illmatic. But if you grew up in the mid 90s and early 00s and were of the era of New York Street rap, even if flawed Stillmatic and It was Written had a lot of impact

On the flip side, while Kendrick is unquestionably the best rapper of this decade, you could make an argument in the era of hipster writers and young social media fans over-championing their favs that maybe Kendrick's albums get over-inflated in their rating cause of the era he's in (which is weird because I dont think this era is that weak either).

Some people always gonna ride with Nas cause always had anthems from that era, creative narratives and street perspectives while they may think Kendrick's voice is too corny and is over layered.

Others might find Nas' style boring cause he doesnt rap like Eminem/Wayne/Kendrick and has a lot of 808s

Both guys have had multiple albums reviewed and given close or close to perfect ratings by both old and new music institutes but even that can come into question depending on what you think of them.

:laff:

cmon breh... you're still forcing this? :snoop:

What do you think?

Kendrick 3 Nas 1.

TPAB was a masterpiece and GKMC definitely has the makings of a classic too. And to me overall musically Section 80 hit all the marks. It has hella replay value, sonically it's Kendricks best album and was as thoughtful and impactful as any of his other projects but it doesn't have the thematic presentation of GKMC or TPAB.

Verdict is out on DAMN

Illmatic is undeniable but stillmatic? Naw. IWW is tricky it didn't leave the greatest impression on me personally but definitely had impact tracks and that album solidified Nas at the time.

I asked that too stop hiding your hands cornball

Kendrick has had more moments in the culture than Nas did if we're being honest.

Nas had:Jay z beef
Untitled album controversy/rollout
Hiphop is dead controversy and rollout

My man really asked if nas ever had a moment like control.:dead:

As if ether didn't break the internet and have people flooding the phone lines at every radio station :deadrose:

As if remy ma didn't come back on that beat 15 years later for shether :Deadcac34:

As if getting "ethered" and "renegaded" hasn't become part of slang for 16 years plus :deadmanny:
Leave em alone :damn:

I'll get to you in a minute nikka be patient

But really what do you want me to say? You don't really acknowledge anything Kendrick does and I'm not gonna sit here and try convince a obvious hater. You're pretty much the Kendrick version of @Terrance Curtis Beasley or hex in drake threads

I can say that for Stillmatic and IWW in a lot of ways.

Even when Kendrick's album cuts aren't classic they are still integral to the album's progression and theme.
