I don't care...as far as I'm concerned they're the same country. They share a similar language and Ukrainians contributed heavily to the USSR politically, economicaly and culturally. Khrushchev, Brezhnev and Chernenko were from the Ukraine region - 3 major leaders of USSR during its height of power.

The US need not intervene...Russia won't expand into Poland as it's a NATO ally and it'll be WW2 again...maybe Belurus joins them but who gives a fukk.

With their technology they can send inter ballistic missiles across the ocean. They don't need to be in proximity...so the fact that they are close to the western EU and NATO allies makes no difference in terms of 'national security'

Yes it’s a legitimate concern. The illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, that borders a NATO ally, has major implications for Americans in general. Stopping Russia in Ukraine is clearly the best option to avoid direct US military engagement. If Russia gets through Ukraine and attacks Poland, we have to declare war. I’d rather avoid that by depleting Russia in Ukraine.
