If it results in the dissolution of an empire, is it really pointless? Russia getting knocked out the box is a once in a thousand year opportunity. Russia being gone-gone changes everything. It would make the fall of the Soviet Union look cute by comparison. If you don't see the many, many points to this war then you are simply ignorant. There is no nice way to say it other than you are ignorant of history and facts.

Putin has his reasons for starting this war. I don't agree with them but those are points that led to war. Ukraine is defending itself and the rest of Europe by proxy. Those are some pretty big point imo...
