Yes to an extent. Russia wont stop at Ukraine. Russia is in a fight for its very existence and would annex NATO countries if they could. That would bring us closer WW3. It sounds counter intuitive but stopping Russia in Ukraine is preventing a direct one on one conflict with the US and Russia.
Nikka shut up. Russia dont have the money, people or strategic skills to fight all these wars. They are paper soldiers with nuclear power. We dont them to break into smaller countries while they have all these nukes
Thats what I been saying. Whats the better outcome for the world, Russia taking over Ukraine and the rest of the post-Soviet countries which they already used to own, and even when they DID they still couldnt fukk with the US and KNEW not to cross into places people give a fukk about like London, Paris etc?
Or pushing the Russian Federation into a total collapse like fukking Libya after Gaddafi in a free for all for nukes, chemical and biological missiles. Yall want Chechnya with Nukes and diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia? Or a Yakutian Republic sharing missile tech laced with COVID variants with fukking North Korea right on its border?
We should fund the defeat of the Russians IN UKRAINE but all this "help Zelensky march on Moscow" or giving them long range missiles is too reckless for me and even the Biden administration agrees.
Help the Ukrainians win and then keep sanctioning the Russians until they either revolt or fukk it, indefinitely just like North Korea, Iran and Cuba. Put em on the State sponsors of terror list too
Lowkey i think there's a bigger game at play. Russia got a lot of land , a lot of resources, some of it undiscovered. It doesn't have the big population you would think a country with that much land has to support that land.

i do, russia cant be allowed to take the number 1 grain producer in the world and ukraine has a lot untapped natural gasa lot of cries of betrayal are circling the net after this stopgap passed, critics of it saying ukraine was thrown under the bus. mind you, this comes AFTER billions have recently been approved, with ukraine receiving a shipment of m1 abrams tanks just days ago.
do any of you actually care what happens to ukraine? is this something that should be a concern of black people? does the defense of ukraine improve the material reality of black america at all? does defending her from russia play a significant role in reversing the socioeconomic disrepair suffered by our people?
i’ll end this by saying that when russia stepped up its invasion, ukraine forbid its black population from leaving the country. is that a nation black people should be rallying behind?
