stuff I specifically liked:

Clara doesn't travel with The Doctor.

It seemed like he only picked her up because he needed her to keep him in line... which she did, and it also means there's no telling what the fukk he's been doing in the meantime.

The Doctor spent most of the ep like this :demonic:

Danny Pink, who's prolly gonna change The Doctor's mind about "soldiers"

The fact that The Doctor wasn't The Hero, really, and seemed at a point to not know what to do. Told Clara to "do something clever"

This ep actually made me feel bad at the end because Rusty went rogue. They actually failed in a way. They only succeeded in fixing Rusty's radiation leak.

I know the last two Doctors were kinda geared towards a younger PG crowd. I'm curious to see the reactions of whiny parents with whiny kids.

I liked all of the modern Doctors, but Capaldi is killing it so far. I hope his run will remain popular enough to keep fukking with him after all the Smith/Tennant-fangirls desert the show.

one more thing, before I stop spazzing about the show (until next week)

Anybody else notice how smoothly he's piloting the TARDIS?

No running around fidgeting with all the buttons and knobs and whistles. No shaky landings and takeoffs.

Dude really just walks by and pulls the lever and it does exactly what it's told.

Compare to even Smith's, who numerous times had to open the doors and catch a falling River Song.

Capaldi straight materialized the TARDIS around a woman while she was in midflight in an exploding spaceship.

shyt was so smooth that I thought she had died and went to "Heaven". :heh:

Yeah, that part had me :ohhh:

Funny because he asked Clara if she knew how to fly the TARDIS when he first transformed. I guess, unlike the other Doctors, he's taken the time to read the manual and get everything running properly.

I remember how the last doctor got shytted on by River Song for not knowing he had the parking breaks on the entire time which is why the TARDIS always made that sound when landing... this doctor is hard on hoes he ain't forgot about that.

Amazing, a lot of people weren't feeling Capaldi because he was too "dark".

this episode was rather silly, evveryone swears he finally "came into his own".
Dude was just shytting on Robin Hood the entire time had me like :russ:

The 12th Doctor in my eyes I'm noticing doesn't care about anyone else's imput on anything he be like "The cause of this situation is this you pudding head:stopitslime:" and just ignores other people's opinions.

This has been my least favorite episode of the season so far just because they went a bit too far with the Doctor as a goofball.
I do think this season has been the only one to make Clara into an actual character worth paying attention to though.

Not to mention....

I just started watching Game of Thrones a few months ago.

The medieval setting has been permanently spoiled for me. :to:

And yeah. this seemed like.... You'd expect the 4th Doctor to be stuck dealing with this kind of thing.

And that's it in a nutshell. This felt like a Tom Baker (the one with the scarf) episode.

And while that may work for Tom Baker..........

I was shocked by this ep too because it was written by Mark Gatiss and he usually delivers better scripts than this.
