You really lucked up getting it for $90.

You can get a ninja foodi recipe book on Amazon. You can get the paperback anywhere from 7 to 17 dollars. Or you can get the kindle edition for as low as 1 dollar.
The finish is a little scratched up and I think I'm missing a rack too. I got the one that is the same height if you flip it, but didn't get the rack thats reversible and will raise the food closer to the top heating element. Oh well, all things considered, not bad for the $, hope to get some good use out of it

Wow, always a catch. I'd give them a call and have them send me both the reversible rack and the recipe book.

That’s great but it’s still a gimmick right next to the slamchop and shamwow. We probably won’t see Air “fryers” on the market in a year or two but we’ll still see convection ovens and that’s because convection ovens know they are ovens and bake shyt. An Air Fryer is an oven that bakes shyt too but is ultra small and misnamed.

I dont think mine is special but just like new tabletop convection ovens have an airfryer setting, mine has a convection oven setting, so i can bake a cake in my shyt, not air fry desserts, but literally bake shyt.

its already been said the technology aint new, its just modeled differently according to your tabletop space.

i remember when ronco used to show the rotisserie airfryer commercial back in 2001, then nuwave came out with a tabletop convection oven where people were impressed you could cook a frozen chicken breast without thawing....

then they combined the rotisserie and the convection oven, now my airfryer does all 3, these shyts arent new they are just remodelling and remarketing

Peep how most nikkas here talking about wings and fries:mjlol:. Ask em how they got their fries, they prob got them pre-cut in a bag with oil already in em frozen. They prob got their chicken in the frozen section where even if it was microwaved it would still cook. Air frying ass nikkas.
You can make the wings from scratch with organic floor and your own seasoning breh breh. It's not quick but it's way more healthy than the alternative

But the ninja foodi is the first unit that pressure cook and airfry, meaning it can tendercrisp.

The manufacture or Sam's? I was thinking about stopping by Sam's and leaving contact info if it turned up. It all happened kinda quick so chances are they got it lying in the packaging somewhere. Worth a shot I spose, and even if they say "as is", guess for the price I can't compain.

Yo you make ribs in there before? I think I might have to pickup a rack on the way home. Prolly only fit one in there Im guessing?

Even if "as is", they suppose to at least let you know exactly what you're getting.

I haven't tried ribs yet because I don't bother pork but once in a while, but those amateurs on those YouTube videos have the meat falling off the bone.

i know. its just the next step in innovation.

even in the 80's when kitchenaids hit the market, before then people used hand beaters. when kitchenaid mixers came around, they got the point where you could get attachments, then they could chop/slice/food process/grind meat/make pasta, now theres dozens of different attachments that one machine can do. they didnt invent some new way to do things, they just made one machine that could accomodate more.

like back in the day, you if you needed a steamer, a rice cooker, a crock pot, a pressure cooker, a dehydrator...they were all different appliances, now an instapot can do all that.

all the ninja foodi is is an instapot + an airfryer. Once again none of those products are doing anything that hasnt ever been done, but individually they combine multiple products into one simple appliance that allow you to not need 8 or more other appliances.

We gotta get some receipts cause the libel is egregious.

Luckily I had time today. :youngsabo:

Came home from work, didn't eat overnight, but Im always prepped. Pulled some chicken out the fridge, grabbed my seasoned flour. cooked up some thighs. And I filmed it.

People saying, you cant get crispy food :stopitslime:, People saying you need grease or oil :manny: you can make some things even more crispy. but if you cook at the right temp and right time, you can get fully cooked and crisped without overcooking or burning/drying out. People saying "it dont taste as good as hot grease :damn:"

What meats are ya'll eatin that you have to dip in hot grease? burger? chicken? I rotisserie chicken in this hoe, or I do it on the grill. Ive started to do wings because you can get them crispy and you dont have to deep fry then bake. If I do vegetables, like i frequently do, i'll spray them a lil bit or use maybe a tbsp of oil, but thats zuccini, or califlower, brussel sprouts, maybe some potatoes. Other than fries, you wouldnt traditionally deep fry those other vegetables, but I also make fried pickles and shyt, which if you bread them and cook at the right temp, they get crispy, you dont have to submerge them in oil.

In my video which you can see, I only spray the basket so it dont stick. But on youtube id wager 7/10 people spray the food.

This is the finished product here I was eatin in less than 35 mins which is not bad considering I decided to eat that while driving home. It took longer for me to bread the 4 pieces of chicken then it did to warm up the air fryer. and then only 18 minutes to cook. by the way i didnt use louisana because in my seasoned flour i put a half tablespoon of cayenne pepper. Sauces are cool, but if you cook and season your food correctly they are not mandatory.

heres the entire process, me preheating the airfryer, seasoning my chicken and cookin, id watch on youtube on 2x or just skip around i wasnt about to edit this

And the cleanup aint bad either. I mainly do vegetables with seasoning on them, chicken like this, grilled cheese, hot dogs (beef), ive done beef brats, even with a whole chicken theres not a lot of residue. I dont know why on when i watch cats on youtube their shyts be drippin, i mainly get crumbs. When I do burgers i get some grease.

heres a piece of salmon

heres a burger
