Peep how most nikkas here talking about wings and fries:mjlol:. Ask em how they got their fries, they prob got them pre-cut in a bag with oil already in em frozen. They prob got their chicken in the frozen section where even if it was microwaved it would still cook. Air frying ass nikkas.

Nope. Never. That's the point of air fryers. YouTube "air fryer fries" You'll see people cutting their own fries from potatoes.

Why just spout random nonsense when you can actually research?

I bought this and posted it in another thread

Most people that have air fryers on YouTube are albeit :flabbynsick: or vegan trying to be on some conscious tip and eat all natural or as close to as possible so bagged fries and deep frying are out of the question. I've already posted videos of Buffalo cauliflower and air fried Brussel sprouts, courtesy of a recipe from another coli breh

I bought one the other day to try. I made some good air fried sweet plantains and veggies in it. Some stuff come out real dry. The kicker is the cleanup is minimal and the times to cook are very fast. I threw in a few chopped plantains and it was done in less than 10 minutes. Some foods need just a little bit of oil. LIke 1TBSP or less.

Shout out to @Laidbackman got the Ninja foodi Saturday, damn they moved em quick. Got there at 9:30 and they were all gone (and I wanted that generator onosale too but twas online only, gotta kick the tires etc) :upsetfavre: Went to take a piss, passed by the break room and saw a demo unit. Talked the manager down to 90 bucks out the door. I'm still on the fence how much I'll use this thing, but that discount will help keep buyer's remorse at bay for now. Alot of videos I see people cooking frozen prepared chicken and shyt like that :francis: Not much experience with pressure cookers but I'm gone see what it do.
Unfortunately didn't come with the recipe/foodfood guide book, haven't found it in PDF online so will be a little of trial and error. Is there a link in the booklet?

your best bet is online, just look for recipes on google or youtube.

go to google type in ninja foodi air fryer manual, also look up nuwave air fryer manual. you'll get a direct link to the pdf's they have recipes in them.

the only thing they are good for are basics. like how to cook starter foods, grilled cheeses, burgers, steaks, and other shyt. they arent the end all be all, you can always add more to the recipes or supplement, and you can cook longer at a lower temp or shorter at a higher temp. they really do give you a good gauge on where to start. for instance my grill cheese recipe melts the cheese, but doesnt get the toast part as toasty, i like my shyt toasty almost like it came out of a toaster, its geared more soft and gooey, by playin with the temps and the time, 10 degrees higher 2 more mins, i get my shyt how i like it everytime.

theres somewhat of a trial and error but if you try a couple of times you'll be able to make food just the way you like it.

You really lucked up getting it for $90.

You can get a ninja foodi recipe book on Amazon. You can get the paperback anywhere from 7 to 17 dollars. Or you can get the kindle edition for as low as 1 dollar.

That’s great but it’s still a gimmick right next to the slamchop and shamwow. We probably won’t see Air “fryers” on the market in a year or two but we’ll still see convection ovens and that’s because convection ovens know they are ovens and bake shyt. An Air Fryer is an oven that bakes shyt too but is ultra small and misnamed.
