Can't say I've necessarily saved money, other than maybe I'm more prone to cook with it than eat out. Maybe the novelty will grow old though.
Definitely healthier as I'm not using oil, flour, grease, etc.. At least on chicken, pork, and fish.
I'm thinking of copping one just for that. Been tired of shyt coming out soggy from my microwave.

I never cared until about 3-4 years ago but heating up the entire house while cooking something simple is a pain in the ass.
There are foods impossible to cook in the air fryer or even an instapot. But when you want a quick single or family dinner and don't want to heat up your entire kitchen or have the wafting odors of food even good food these are clutch.
My lady is old school she doesn't use the air fryer and probably won't use her instapot,she'll eat what I cook but she won't use it herself. There's times when I work overnight and if I work a 10-12 hour shifts and whether I come home at 7am or 6pm, last thing I want to do is smell hot food wafting through the house. I appreciate and applaud her work because she's cooking and I could sleep with the door closed but if I'm napping or sleeping in either of my two family rooms them strong odors and flavors are too much.
Likewise if I come home at 1am and she sleep and I want a burger (which I can cook in the air fryer, still a fresh, not frozen) or seasoned chicken breasts, chicken wings (fresh. Not frozen) I can do all that and more without stinking up or altering the temp of the house.
If your a single man or female an air fryer and an instant pot are great investments, even more so than a foreman grill which is universally clutch .
If you don't care about that stuff than continue to use an oven and microwave .
